Background
My background is in multi-media photography, projection art and digital imaging.

Photography
I started as a photographer's assistant in fashion photography in Paris, and went on to create my own experimental portfolio in New York City.
I have spent a several years photographing the New York social night-life in galleries and clubs.
I also spent several years photographing Nature; botanicals, exotic tropical plants, flowers and trees, seascapes and sunsets, in Key West, Florida.
I digitally manipulated, collaged and added special effects to these photos and printed a series of digital type c prints, fine art Iris prints, and output high resolution slides and tranparencies.

Photographic Special Effects
I spent several years working in professional custom color labs, acquiring my own blend of special effects, using hand-coloring, darkroom and photo-retouching techniques.

Multi-Media Shows and Projection Art
Over the last ten years, I have created many multi-image slide shows for a variety of New York clubs, including the Palladium, the Limelight, the Area Club. I have also produced light shows projections for bands, performers, DJ's and video and film animation for events.
I recently collaborated on projects, involving projecting my digital image files, on large screens via video projectors, combining video mixing with live and recorded electronic music.
These events took place in a multi-media lounge and were cybercast live on the internet.

Digital Imaging
In the past 7 years, I have been using MacIntosh computers with Photoshop, as well as other computer software programs, to blend my photographs and slides to create electronic images. The computer allows me to use my experience with traditional photo-retouching to transform my photography into hybrid prints and slides, as well as digital files.
I also did an internship in the computer department, of a high end retouching studio and have had several exhibitions of my digital prints in art galleries and showrooms.
